Some more sketches/work in progress from RIP.

The Bronica PG 100mm lens is super sharp on the 5D but the focus is harder to get just right since it’s meant for a medium format camera.

Getting more used to the proportion of the full frame.

I’m enjoying shooting with the equivalent of a telephoto lens right now, its forcing me to be more creative with how I see. Working on my b&w toning as well, wasn’t digging the colors in this and I think it could be interesting to work on a series of b&w and a series of color images for RIP.

One of my first photos with my first full frame digital camera - a 5D Classic that I got a great deal on last week. Bought a Bronica to Canon lens adapter so I could use my 100mm PG lens, though it loses some quality since it’s meant for medium format and the 5D’s sensor isn’t the greatest. Hopefully picking up a 50mm or 28mm lens soon, it’ll be interesting to see what I can do with digital - at the very least I expect to be shooting a lot more!

Intern Magazine Issue Two

Excited to have some work in the upcoming issue of Intern Magazine, due for release in July! You can check out some preview spreads at the link above and pre-order a copy if you dig it.

And it was cool to see that Romke Hoogwaerts of Mossless has written an essay (I’m assuming) for the same issue - was unaware of that until today but am looking forward to it! And if you haven’t already, check out and consider buying a copy of the third issue of Mossless Magazine, a 10 year perspective on American photography.
