It’s tough to have faith in anything anymore.

Extremely strong convictions can be shattered at any moment.

For me, there is an uneasiness but also a thrill to not knowing what the future holds. The idea that I may or may not have any control over how my life pans out doesn’t matter; the immediacy of living is more important. It is impossible to know how life works, regardless of whether you hold religion, science, or anything in between as your faith. My conflict lies with whether or not we as humans are in total control of our lives. It is both frightening and beautiful to believe that everything we do has immense importance in the end, whatever that end may be.
